tree aid

Burkina Faso

TREE AID helps people in the drylands of Africa to lift themselves out of poverty and protect their environment.

People here live in some of the toughest conditions on earth and trees are essential to their survival. Trees provide nutrition, generate income and help to create a healthy environment.

TREE AID works with local communities to help them protect and grow trees, for themselves and for future generations.

open heart

Open Heart is the story of eight Rwandan children who embark on a life-saving journey to receive open-heart surgery in Africa’s only free, state-of-the-art cardiac hospital, the Salam Center in Sudan. The children have rheumatic heart disease, which often develops from untreated strep throat—a completely preventable condition if antibiotics like penicillin are available

As a climate charity, Cool Earth helps protect the world’s most vulnerable against threats to their rainforest. From sea-level rise to drought, wildfires to deforestation, we work alongside people to protect their homes. To protect the rainforest tomorrow, Cool Earth must help people survive today.

Hand in hand with partner organisations on the ground, we’re getting food and supplies where they are most needed right now. We don’t know how long this crisis will last, but we will be here for rainforest people long after it ends.
